A collection of work evolving the Cisco Security brand. When we were brought into the greater Cisco Security team, the identity landscape across the portfolio was uneven, lacked cohesion or standards of any kind, and in some places was completely unrelated to Cisco. We performed an audit, developed a strategy, and explored options of where the brand could move. This work helped define the new footprint.

IoT on the offensive

Cisco Annual Cybersecurity Report promotional video. My team was asked to help drive awareness and downloads of the report, aligning to the report’s “Internet of Things” focus. We developed the story, wrote the script, cast the talent, and directed, shot, edited, and produced the final video on a shoestring budget. We partnered with key stakeholders to ensure the work represented the organization appropriately, told a great story, and helped effectively promote the asset.

Cisco Umbrella branding

A brand and visual identity system aligning OpenDNS with Cisco. When Cisco acquired OpenDNS, I was brought in to manage creative production. The first task was to integrate the org (renamed Cisco Umbrella) with the Cisco identity system. My team developed a subset of the Cisco visual language in a more manageable, clearly defined, and new product line: Cloud Security. We partnered with stakeholders and key Cisco executives to roll out the project on time and to great success.
