Illumio brand refresh

Brand and visual identity development. Arriving at Illumio, I discovered no usable brand guidelines existed. Within a month, we performed an audit, pulled together the best visual cues from existing creative, refined, added additional elements, and developed refreshed visual language and new guidelines. This ensured new work felt related to older work with continuity in visual expression but was polished, engaging, expertly crafted, appropriate to our audience, and modern.

Illumio awareness campaign

Brand campaign launched ahead of a key annual cybersecurity conference. We gained awareness by amplifying a clear message – network segmentation was no longer difficult with Illumio. Our integrated, omnichannel effort began with in-flight commercials, continued at SFO baggage claim, along highway 101 towards the venue, local market tv spots hitting attendees in hotels, culminating with advertising at the event. We earned 10s of millions of impressions and a major increase in booth visitors.

Illumio marketing videos

NOTES
A series of product overviews and customer story videos. I managed both agency partner and in-house video teams to produce several videos to drive key marketing initiatives. We leveraged motion graphics, live-action, and stock video to tell appropriate stories to inform our audiences and develop an interest in our products. These videos earned views and drove engagement, leading to increased pipeline and propelling the business forward.
